Introduction: Magnetoresistive liquid level sensor is a sensor used to measure the position of liquids, such as oil, water or other liquids. At present, the commonly used liquid level sensors are: radar liquid level sensors,ultrasonic liquid level sensors,float type liquid level(Reed Switch) sensors, magnetic flap type liquid level gauges and capacitive liquid level sensors. In high-precision liquid level measurement, most of them use reed switch liquid level sensors, which have the advantages of affordable price and simple structure. However, the reed switch also has some shortcomings: large size(about 14mm in length), which limits the measurement accuracy of the sensor; Using glass packaging, it is easy to be broken or damaged during transportation or processing, which affects the characteristics and life of the switch; during use contacts are prone to jitter,which affects reliability; there are also mechanical life limitations, and long-term use reliability is poor. In the liquid level sensor, the magnetoresistive switch sensor is used to replace the reed switch, which not only has the advantages of high measurement accuracy, affordable price, simple structure, good reliability and longer service life, but also solve the problems of using the reed switch.
